Good News: Mother Nature suggests rain showers AND we have indoor space for Yoga/Pilates and more!
Saturday’s and Sunday’s Yoga/Pilates, Massage and Energy-Work, by Dynamic Being’s Meredith, Ralph Havens PT OCS IMTC, Laura Macki and Luca’s Rolfing, will be held inside a fabulous space of the historic Graham’s Store & Restaurant building. The entrance is located on the East-side of 9989 Mt. Baker Hwy, off of Vaughn Avenue. Please bring your own mat as extras are limited. Classes are by donation with a suggested $8 minimum. Body- and Energy-Work by donation also, with a suggested minimum – just ask the practitioner for their Taste Of Kulshan specials. Space is graciously being offered by Glacier's Mayor Emeritus, Gary Graham – thank you, Gary!

Saturday, August 29th:

Saturday’s Yoga/Pilates classes are from 10:00am to 11:30 or 12 noon and again from 2:30-3:30pm with Massage and Energy-Work in between and following.

Bellingham's Irish folk band Gallowglass will be playing from Rifugio's outdoor stage on Saturday, beginning at 2:30pm

North Fork Branch WCLS director David Austin will showcase suggested area readings on food, recipes and history. Bring the family for a children's Kulshan craft activity.

Saturday evening, Chair-9 will be showing the film The Mountain Runners. Co-director Brian Young will be in attendance for Q&A and with DVDs available. After the film, we will raffle Evan Whitehead's event painting Peak to Sea with proceeds to the artist and Foothills Food Bank, followed by more music (band to be announced)!

Sunday, August 30th:

Sunday’s Yoga/Pilates class will be from 10:30am to 11:30 or 12 noon with more Massage and Energy-Work.

Sunday breakfasts will be offered by Grahams, Wake n’ Bakery, Mountain Acres and Rifugio’s, with more music at Rifugio’s around 2:30pm!

A bit about the area

The Kulshan Foothills is a year-round recreational area close to Bellingham, Seattle and Vancouver, B.C. We offer excellent camping and hiking as well as one of the best ski areas in the Pacific Northwest.
